KOReader is a document viewer for E Ink devices. A highly recommended piece of software.

Most tips will be for Kobo devices, because I have a Kobo.

Installation:

For Kobo: bypass registration (not KOReader related).

Github page for installation here.

For Kobo: Go here and download the package OCP Plato. Scroll down further and download the install script for your computer. Plug in your device and run the install script.

How to backup settings:

If you want to backup your KOReader settings, these are the folders and files to backup.

Folders:

• settings
• styletweaks

Files:

• data/cr3.ini
• defaults.persistent.lua
• history.lua
• settings.reader.lua
